Bells & Whistles

Bridge kessonsBells & Whistles workshops are geared for intermediate players who want to learn useful tools and conventions that complement either Standard American or Two-over-One Game Force systems. Whether you are looking to add new tools to your game or simply want a better understanding of them, these workshops are for you. Each workshop stands on its own so players are welcome to attend whenever there is a topic of interest.

The 1½-hour workshops use experience from playing hands to emphasize teaching points. The workshops focus on the 16 conventions Larry Cohen recommends. ACBL Accredited Teacher, Susan Fronapfel, presents the lessons. Refreshments are provided. Come with a friend — or come alone and make new ones!

The Bells & Whistles workshops are on Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:30 am; cost is $12 per workshop ($9 for Newtown Bridge Club members). Players receive a comprehensive handout for each workshop.

Questions? Contact Susan at director@newtownbridge.org or 203-733-8525.

COVID-19 attendance policy: All attendees must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination. Please bring your original CDC vaccination card with you.
